Orpheus Voice

This instrument needs your microphone.
Your voice will be comma-phase-modulated in real time and returned to your headphones.

Plug in headphones before continuing to avoid feedback.

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOUR VOICE RIGHT NOW
Your microphone captures your voice. The Web Audio API feeds it into a real-time DSP chain running at your device's native sample rate (44.1 or 48 kHz).
A ScriptProcessor node reads your audio in 2048-sample frames. For each frame, it computes how many complete cycles have elapsed and tracks the comma accumulation: phase += (samples / sampleRate) × δ
Every N_res = 73.296 cycles of the dominant frequency, a Kairos event fires. At that moment the output signal phase is shifted by the encoded depth, the accumulated comma error is corrected and re-accumulated from the new baseline.
The phase-shifted signal is mixed with your dry voice at the Wet/Dry ratio and sent to your headphones. You hear your own voice, comma-modulated, within ~10ms. The correction is subtle but real, listen for a slight shimmer, a spatial widening at Kairos moments.
The spectrum analyzer shows your voice's fundamental frequency and its comma partner in real time. When you hold a note, watch the gold marker appear at f × φ. That is the frequency the universe wants to close to. It never quite does.

Every system manages a comma. What irresolvable gap is this subject managing?
Where is the Kairos event?N_res = 73.296. Is there a 73-unit threshold here?
The gap is not the failure.Where does the apparent error prove authenticity?
What does the 0.296 carry? What continues from a slightly different position?
